About Us
Kingdom Inheritance Ministries was founded by Matthew and Jessica Curtis to help believers discover the fullness of who they are in Christ and walk in the inheritance that God has prepared for them.
As a traveling ministry, Matthew, Jessica, and the entire KIM ministry team go wherever the Lord leads, ministering in churches of any denomination. KIM also hosts gatherings, events, and conferences in neutral places within towns and communities, creating spaces where believers can come together to hear the Word of the Lord, receive direction for their lives, and be strengthened in their faith.
The heart of KIM is to serve the Body of Christ across denominational lines. Through the outreaches of the Foundational Truth for Life Podcast, believers are equipped to build their lives on the solid foundation of the Word of God. Through Faith Heights for Helpmates, the ministry serves marriages, helping husbands and wives grow together in faith, unity, and purpose.
The mission is simple: to see lives renewed, marriages strengthened, and hearts awakened to the power of God’s Kingdom. KIM desires to see people healed, restored, and discovering who they are in Christ—walking in the inheritance that belongs to them through Him.
This mission reflects the heart of Acts 26:18, which guides the ministry: to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Christ.
Statement of Faith
Kingdom Inheritance Ministries, Inc.
“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins,
and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” — Acts 26:18 (KJV)
Preamble
Kingdom Inheritance Ministries, Inc. is commissioned to teach God’s people concerning His honor, the revelation of His glory—His goodness revealed—and His Kingdom both within them and to come. Through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, we build believers upon the foundation of Christ, equipping them to know who they are in Him, what they have in Him, what they can do in Him, and how to walk in their covenant inheritance.
In accordance with the commission given to us by the Lord, as reflected in Acts 26:18, it is our assignment to open eyes and turn people from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This mandate shapes our mission and directs our ministry.
We are sent to the lost sheep—to seek and restore those who are lost, sick, wounded, depressed, overburdened, or scattered. Following the pattern of the shepherd described in Scripture, we seek the lost, restore the straying, bind up the wounded, and strengthen the sick. As part of this work of restoration, we help reconnect these believers with sound local churches in the regions where we minister so they may be rooted in fellowship and established in the household of God.
We proclaim that the glory of God is the manifestation of Who He is—His goodness revealed. When God reveals His glory, He reveals His perfectly good nature: holy, righteous, just, merciful, faithful, and true. Therefore we teach believers to rightly see Him, rightly represent Him, and walk before Him in reverence and honor.
We proclaim the Kingdom of God as both a present spiritual reality and a future visible fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is within every believer who has been born again, as the reign of God established in the heart by the Holy Spirit. Yet we also live in confident expectation of its full and visible establishment upon Earth at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through the preaching of the Gospel, the restoration of believers, and the teaching of God’s honor, His manifest goodness, and His Kingdom, we seek to see the Church strengthened, the scattered restored, and the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
1. The One True God
We believe in one eternal God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, revealed in Scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God is holy, righteous, just, merciful, faithful, and only good. His nature is perfectly pure, and in Him there is no darkness at all. All that He does flows from His perfectly good character. His judgments are righteous and true. He is not the author of sin, evil, sickness, or destruction, but the Redeemer Who restores, heals, and makes whole.
We believe the glory of God is the revelation of Who He is—the manifestation of His goodness, holiness, power, and truth. When God reveals His glory, He reveals His nature. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
His Kingdom is everlasting, and He alone is worthy of honor, worship, obedience, and praise.
2. The Sovereignty of God and Human Responsibility
We affirm that God is sovereign—supreme in authority, wisdom, and power. Nothing can thwart His ultimate purposes, and His Kingdom will be fully established according to His eternal plan.
While God reigns supreme, we affirm that His sovereign rule does not eliminate human responsibility, but calls believers to actively cooperate with His revealed will through faith, obedience, and faithful stewardship in the earth.
From the beginning, God entrusted mankind with stewardship within creation. Through sin, that stewardship was corrupted; through Jesus Christ, it is restored under His Lordship.
3. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures are God-breathed and serve as the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct.
Through the written Word, God reveals His nature, His covenant purposes, His redemptive plan through Jesus Christ, and the believer’s inheritance in His Kingdom.
4. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Word of God Who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1,14). He is fully God and fully man—unchanged in His divine nature, yet truly partaking of humanity.
In His incarnation, He did not cease to be God; rather, He willingly laid aside the outward glory and the independent exercise of His divine privileges, taking upon Himself the form of a servant (Philippians 2:6–8). He humbled Himself and lived as a man anointed by the Holy Spirit, exercising no independent divine authority, but walking in complete dependence upon the Father and in full submission to His will.
In doing so, He revealed the nature and heart of God and demonstrated the life of a true Son under authority. He established the pattern for redeemed humanity—showing what a life yielded to the Spirit, aligned with the Word, and submitted to the Father can accomplish for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom in the earth.
He lived a sinless life, proclaimed the Gospel of the Kingdom, healed the sick, cast out demons, exercised authority over creation, and demonstrated dominion over sin and death. He willingly offered Himself as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, was crucified, buried, and bodily raised from the dead on the third day.
He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He reigns as Lord and High Priest. Through His finished work, He secured eternal redemption and restored to believers their authority and inheritance under His Lordship. He will return again in power and glory to establish the fullness of His Kingdom upon Earth.
5. Salvation and New Creation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is received by confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9–10).
Through the new birth, the believer is born from above and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. They are reconciled to God, made righteous in Christ, transferred from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. Their sins are forgiven and washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ.
In His atoning work, Jesus Christ bore our sins, our judgment, and the chastisement necessary for our peace. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; and by His stripes we were and are healed (Isaiah 53:4–5; 1 Peter 2:24). Healing—spirit, soul, and body—is provided in His redemptive work and belongs to the covenant inheritance of those who believe.
At salvation, the believer becomes a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Salvation is not merely the improvement of the old life, but the impartation of new life.
Through the new birth, we are born into the family of God, made true sons and daughters of the Father. As those born of God, we are made heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, possessing a covenant birthright and an eternal inheritance in His Kingdom.
Through His precious promises, we become partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4)—not by becoming divine in essence, but by sharing in His life, character, and holiness through the indwelling Holy Spirit, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through sin.
We believe the redeemed will dwell eternally with the Father in His Kingdom, fully established upon Earth at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
6. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of many members, and composed of all who have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Church is not confined to any single denomination, fellowship, or movement, but includes all believers everywhere who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and are united to Him by the Holy Spirit. Though diverse in expression and function, the Church is one Body under one Head, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We affirm unity among believers in the essential truths of the Christian faith, while extending charity and grace in matters where sincere believers may differ, seeking to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
The Church exists to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate the love, truth, and power of Christ in the earth.
7. Apostolic Foundation
We affirm the foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ as outlined in Hebrews 6:1–2: repentance from dead works, faith toward God, the doctrine of baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
We believe repentance from dead works calls individuals to turn from sin, self-righteousness, and lifeless religion to the living God. Faith toward God is wholehearted trust in His character, His Word, and His redemptive work through Jesus Christ.
We affirm the doctrine of baptisms, including baptism in water as a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ’s death and resurrection, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit as empowerment for life and ministry.
We believe in the biblical practice of the laying on of hands for blessing, impartation, commissioning, and the ministry of healing, as demonstrated in the New Testament.
We affirm the bodily resurrection of the dead and the certainty of eternal judgment, when all will stand before God and His righteous justice will be revealed.
8. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the new birth, bearing witness that they are born of God and belong to the Father.
The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a holy and victorious life and to grow in Christlike character. We affirm the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, including the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit as described in the New Testament.
The Spirit equips believers to walk in love, faith, boldness, purity, favor, blessing, and the anointing of God, that His purposes may be accomplished and His Kingdom advanced in the earth.
9. The Resurrection, Judgment, and the Kingdom to Come
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, eternal life for those redeemed in Christ, and eternal judgment for those who reject His salvation.
We live in confident expectation of the visible, bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the full establishment of His Kingdom upon Earth.
